After two years of absence due to health crisis, the SPDEI organized in Paris last night the 25 th ceremony of the awards which recognize components of the best manufacturers in the past year. This year, the Trophies awarded by the distributors were awarded to 24 manufacturers in eight product categories.
Component manufacturers, representatives, distributors, union presidents and personalities of the electronics industry attended the 25 th edition of the trophies SPDEI, returning the friendly exchanges in a year marked again by the shortage and the need for all industry players to work together to minimize the deleterious effects of the lack of availability of components and to prepare as best as possible " the location of future electronics projects ". This is the main message that Pascal Fernandez wanted to convey. Welcomed by the audience, the president of the SPDEI also announced his retirement. A new president of the distributors union will be appointed during the next year.
For this 25 th edition, the franchised distributors who are members of the SPDEI awarded their trophies in eight product categories. Component manufacturers are rated on five criteria: partnership with the distributor; product innovation; profitability for the distributor; resources allocated for distributor support; protection and traceability of designs.
For this 25 th edition, there was 90% participation and 105 component manufacturers named.
